2024–2026 Chevrolet Blazer FAQ

How do I switch between high and low beams?

2025–2026

Push the turn signal lever away and release to turn on high beams; push it again, or pull and release it, to return to low beams.

What should I do if a turn signal flashes rapidly?

2025–2026

After signaling, a rapidly flashing or absent arrow may mean a burned-out bulb; replace it, then check the fuse if the bulb is good.

What does a low brake fluid level mean?

2025–2026

A low level may indicate normal brake lining wear or a brake hydraulic-system leak; have the system fixed if it leaks because the brakes will not work well.

2024

Park on a level surface in P (Park), then verify the brake fluid is between the reservoir’s minimum and maximum marks.

Clean the reservoir cap and surrounding area before removal, and do not top off the fluid.

How do I check the brake fluid level?

2025–2026

With the vehicle in P (Park) on a level surface, check that the brake fluid is between the reservoir's minimum and maximum marks.

Do not top off the fluid; add or remove it only when work is performed on the brake hydraulic system.

When should the passenger compartment air filter be replaced?

2025–2026

Replace the filter as part of routine scheduled maintenance, and contact your dealer for replacement.

How do I check the automatic transmission fluid level?

2025–2026

You do not need to check it; if checking is necessary, have your dealer check it, because a leak is the only reason for fluid loss.

Page 255 in the 2026 manual →

2024

Stop and idle the engine to cool the automatic transmission fluid; driving while it is too hot can damage the vehicle, and the message clears after the fluid cools sufficiently.

Why will remote start not operate?

2024

Remote start will not operate if the remote key is inside, the hood is not closed, the ignition is not off, hazards are on, the vehicle is not in P (Park), an emission-control malfunction exists, coolant temperature is too high, oil pressure is low, or two starts or an extension were used.

What should I do if the vehicle cannot detect my remote key because its battery is weak?

2024

  1. When the DIC shows a weak remote battery message, put the transmitter in the front cupholder.
  2. Select P (Park) or N (Neutral), hold the brake pedal, and press ENGINE START/STOP; replace the transmitter battery as soon as possible.
