For the 2.5L L4 Turbo engine (LK0) with VIN code S and automatic transmission, do not re-gap preset plugs because damage can result.

2021–2024

More frequent replacement may be needed for severe or extreme use, including commercial service, towing, short trips, high sand or dust, and off-road, farming, mining, forestry, or snow-plowing use; contact an authorized GM Dealer for suitable intervals.

What should I check if my remote key is not working?

2025–2027

Check whether the remote key is too far away, objects or vehicles block its signal, or its battery needs replacing.

If it still does not work after checking distance, location, and battery, have it serviced by a dealer or qualified technician.

Do I need to check the transmission fluid routinely?

2025–2027

Routine transmission fluid checks are unnecessary, but have a dealer inspect and repair the vehicle as soon as possible if you notice a leak.

What happens if I use the wrong automatic transmission fluid?

2025–2027

Using an unsuitable automatic transmission fluid can harm the vehicle, and warranty coverage may not include that damage; use the correct fluid.

How do I monitor engine oil life and maintenance needs?

2025–2027

Use the Oil Life display as an estimate, follow its messages, and remember that additional maintenance is also recommended.

2021–2024

Have the tires rotated and required services performed every 12 000 km (7,500 mi).

If unusual wear appears, rotate the tires promptly, check inflation and damage, and check wheel alignment if wear continues.

2017–2020

When the remaining oil life is low, CHANGE ENGINE OIL SOON appears; change the oil as soon as possible.
