When should I change the 8-speed transmission fluid and filter?

Under normal operating conditions, routine fluid and filter changes are not required because the factory fluid provides lubrication for the vehicle's life.
Change both if the fluid becomes contaminated, such as with water, or if the transmission is disassembled for any reason.

Set Headlight Illumination On Approach for 0, 30, 60, or 90 seconds after unlocking the doors with the RKE transmitter.
After pressing Lights, use the plus or minus soft-key to choose the interval, then touch the back arrow.

Move the multifunction lever up or down; the instrument-cluster arrows flash when the front and rear signals operate properly.
If a signal stays on or flashes very fast, check for a defective outside light bulb; no indicator light may also indicate a defective bulb.

When the ignition switch is first turned ON, the light should come on for four to eight seconds to check the bulb.
If the light is not on during starting, see your authorized dealer; if it remains on, flickers, or appears while driving, have an authorized dealer check the system.
