After you accept a system update through the multimedia system, traction-battery charging may be delayed or canceled.

Wait until the update is complete before connecting the charging cable to the vehicle.

If it appears during braking with the other warning light and a beep, the fluid level may be low or the braking system may have a fault; stop when traffic allows and consult an approved dealer.

A blinking light means the power level is low; charge the vehicle as soon as possible, and contact an authorised dealer if charging does not increase it.

1. Reset the interval only after completing service according to the maintenance schedule.
2. Press and hold one display reset button for approximately 10 seconds, until the service range remains displayed.

A normal drop can occur as brake shoes wear, but an abnormal or repeated drop requires an authorized dealer; after hydraulic-circuit work, a specialist must replace the fluid.

Only approved fluid from a sealed container may be used.

Check it frequently on level ground with the engine switched off, and immediately if braking efficiency decreases; it must not fall below the MINI line.

The repair is not possible; do not drive the vehicle and contact an approved dealer.
