If replacement is necessary, contact an authorized Mazda retailer, Mazda authorized repairer, or reliable repairer.

Use Genuine ATF WS; another transmission fluid may cause abnormal noise or vibration or ultimately damage the transmission.

A slight brake-fluid drop can be normal as brake pads wear or accumulator fluid rises, but frequent refilling may indicate a serious problem.

Brake fluid can harm your hands or eyes and damage painted surfaces; flush contact with clean water immediately and consult a doctor if discomfort continues.

Replace the spark plugs every 90,000 km.

1. Carry the electronic key, then grip the front door handle and touch the sensor on its back to unlock all doors.
2. To lock all doors, touch the lock sensor on the side of the front door handle and verify that the door is securely locked.
3. The doors cannot be unlocked for 3 seconds after they are locked.

The electronic key battery is low and should be replaced; because replacement may damage the key, an authorized Mazda retailer or repairer is recommended.

Follow the maintenance schedule to inspect and change the air conditioning filter; dusty locations or busy roads can mean changing it sooner.

When vent airflow drops sharply, examine the filter and change it when needed.

1. When the headlights are on, move the lever away from you to switch on the high beams.
2. Move the lever toward you until it reaches the center position to switch the high beams off.
3. To flash the high beams once, move the lever toward you and let go; this works with the headlights on or off.
