How do I manually check and adjust my tire pressure?
2024–2025
- Use the placard or tire pressure table to find the recommended pressure for the current operating conditions.
- Check and correct pressure only when the tires are cold: parked out of direct sunlight for at least three hours and driven less than 1 mile (1.6 km).
- Remove the valve cap, press a suitable gauge securely onto the valve, and read the pressure.
- Add air if pressure is low, or release air and recheck if it is high, then replace the valve cap.
What does the yellow Check Engine warning lamp mean?
2024–2025
This light signals an engine, exhaust, or fuel-system fault; emissions limits could be exceeded, and the engine might enter emergency operation.
Arrange a vehicle check at a qualified specialist workshop as soon as possible; in some states, immediate consultation is required when it illuminates.
