What should I do first if my LEAF has a flat tire?

2018–2025

  1. Move safely off the road and away from traffic, turn on the hazard flashers, park level, apply the parking brake, and select P (Park).
  2. Turn off the EV system, raise the hood, and have all passengers leave the vehicle and stand safely away from traffic.
  3. Do not repair a tire on a slope, ice, slippery surfaces, or near oncoming traffic; wait for professional road assistance instead.
  4. If possible, have the vehicle towed to a facility that can repair or replace the flat tire.

What does the LEAF driving-range estimate mean?

2018–2025

The driving-range display estimates distance before recharging, using available Li-ion battery charge and actual average power consumption.

After charging, it uses previous driving's average energy consumption, so the estimate can vary each time the vehicle is fully charged.
