1. Confirm the function is available in your country, privacy settings permit data exchange, and you have an active, assigned We Connect account with one primary user.
2. Ensure sufficient mobile reception, a working electrical system, and an appropriately charged 12-volt battery.
3. With adequate mobile and GPS reception, switch on the ignition and Infotainment system, follow its information, and start the download.
4. The download may be interrupted and will resume as required when the ignition is switched on.

Warning and indicator lamps show warnings, faults, or certain functions; some should go out shortly after the ignition is switched on.

Never ignore an illuminated lamp or text message, and stop as soon as possible and safe.

The tire pressure warning indicates low tire pressure; do not continue driving, and stop as soon as possible and safe.

Make sure the smartphone supports Android Auto, has its app installed, and uses an original manufacturer cable with a data-transfer USB port, unless using Android Auto Wireless.

For wireless use, activate Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, follow the smartphone and Infotainment system prompts, then tap HOME, App-Connect, and Android Auto.

Check that the level is between the MIN and MAX markings; if it cannot be read exactly, seek a suitably qualified workshop.

Switch off the starter after about 10 seconds, try again after about 1 minute, and seek expert assistance if it still does not start.

After replacing factory-fitted wheels, install compatible tire-pressure sensors and drive above approximately 25 km/h (15 mph) for an extended period so they are detected.
