To improve range, avoid high speeds and frequent acceleration or braking, use preconditioning, and monitor climate settings, tire pressure, and consumption in the Range assistant.

The snowflake means a cold battery has reduced charge capacity, performance, and range; charging while parked can help avoid this, especially in a cold climate.

The snowflake disappears when the battery warms during preconditioning or driving.

Use Volvo-approved, VOL-marked tires; all four must have the correct axle-specific sizes, the same radial type, and preferably the original manufacturer.

Turn on the hazard warning flashers and move away from immediate danger if possible; call roadside assistance if necessary.

Do not drive on the flat tire, and exit on the side with the least traffic; use a warning triangle and reflective vest if available.
