If the fixed warning appears with STOP, a message, and an audible signal, the traction battery is too hot; evacuate quickly and move to a safe distance.

Frequent cold starts, stop-and-go driving, trailer operation, mountain driving, poor or sandy roads, high pollution, airborne sand or dust, high altitude, or large temperature variations are severe operating conditions.

Under these conditions, some service work may be needed more frequently; contact a workshop for a customized service schedule.

For a fuel cell vehicle, schedule servicing every 15,000 km or one year, whichever comes first.

1. If the vehicle or electronic key battery is discharged, use the mechanical key to unlock the driver's door.
2. Press and hold the electronic key latch to extract the integral key.
3. Insert and turn the key in the left front door lock cylinder; with working central locking, the vehicle unlocks.
4. If central locking is not working, open the other doors using their interior handles; the load compartment and fuel filler flap may remain locked.
5. Switch on the ignition to deactivate the anti-theft locking system.

The engine immobiliser prevents starting; to restart, top up the AdBlue tank with at least 10 litres.

LED low- and high-beam headlights, daytime running lights, parking lights, and turn lights cannot be changed; have a workshop repair a failure.

1. For halogen headlights, switch off all exterior and interior lights and the ignition, and close all doors.
2. Replace the headlight bulb from the engine compartment by removing the protective cover, pressing the latch, and removing the bulb socket.
3. Detach the bulb from the socket and replace it with the same bulb type, holding the new bulb only at its base.
4. Insert the bulb socket into the reflector housing and reinstall the cover.
5. Switch on the ignition, operate the lights, and check them after replacement.
