How do I start my 2024 Kia Forte remotely?
2022–2024
- If equipped, the smart key can start the vehicle using its remote start button.
- Lock the doors with the lock button while within 10 m (32 ft) of the vehicle.
- Within 4 seconds after locking, press the remote start button for more than 2 seconds; the hazard warning lights will blink.
- Press the remote start button once to turn off the vehicle.
What happens if I do not drive after remotely starting the vehicle?

If you take no further action to operate or drive the vehicle, it turns off 10 minutes after remote starting.

Push the lever away to turn on the high beams; pull it toward you to return to low beam.
Do not use high beams around vehicles ahead, and avoid leaving the lights on for a prolonged time with the engine off.
