- Do not exceed 45 MPH (72 km/h), avoid hard acceleration, deceleration, and steep uphill grades, and reduce cargo being hauled or towed if possible.
- Have the vehicle inspected; it does not need to be towed to the dealer.

Do not place anything over the photo sensor, because it can make the system react as if it is dark and illuminate the headlights.
