Replace the air conditioning filter according to the maintenance schedule, and replace it earlier in dusty or heavily trafficked areas.

Push the release button and pull out the mechanical key, then store it in the electronic key and carry both together.

You may need the mechanical key if the electronic-key battery is depleted or entry does not operate properly.

On vehicles with an automatic transmission and non-optitron meters, stop safely, shift to P, and wait for the light to turn off before restarting.

If the light flashes, it indicates a malfunction in the automatic transmission system.

On vehicles with non-optitron type meters, the light means the engine oil level is too low, so add oil.

Move to a safe location, put the shift lever in P, and wait for the warning light to turn off.

Once it does, you may start the vehicle again.

1. If equipped, press the menu switch to change the multi-information display to electronic features control mode.
2. Press the ENTER switch up or down until AFS appears.
3. Press ENTER to change AFS to OFF; the AFS OFF indicator appears.
4. Each press of the switch turns AFS on or off.

If the fuel tank is completely empty, refuel immediately; the lamp should go off after several trips.

If it remains on, contact your Toyota dealer as soon as possible.
