With the ignition on, engine off, and vehicle stationary, open Vehicle, Settings, and Service in the Infotainment system; menu versions may vary.

1. Use the box spanner to loosen the retaining bolt until free, then completely unscrew the securing bolt.
2. Fit the box spanner into the bracket, ensuring its hook is in the hole and cannot be pulled toward the back.
3. Hold the box spanner with both hands, lift it with the bracket, and guide it to the right until aligned.
4. Guide the box spanner downward with the bracket, then remove the spare wheel.
5. Follow these actions in the specified order because doing otherwise could cause serious injuries.

1. Park the vehicle on a firm, level surface and open the bonnet.
2. Identify the brake fluid reservoir by its cap and check that the level is between the MIN and MAX markings.
3. If the level cannot be read exactly, seek assistance from a suitably qualified workshop.
4. The level may drop slightly as the brake pads wear and the brakes automatically adjust.

The red warning lamp means the brake fluid level is too low, so do not drive because brake failure can result.

Stop as soon as possible when safe, check the brake fluid level, and seek expert assistance if it is too low.

With the ignition off and driver door open, an acoustic warning sounds if the parking light, parking lamps, or rear fog lamp is on; no reminder sounds for orientation lighting.

For wired Apple CarPlay, the iPhone must support CarPlay, have Siri and unrestricted CarPlay enabled, and use an original Apple cable in a data-capable USB port.

For wireless use, also enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, then open MENU > App-Connect, tap Apple CarPlay, and follow both screen instructions.

Check all tires, including the spare or temporary spare, monthly when cold and match the driver-door sticker specifications.
