How do I replace the RKE transmitter battery?

2008–2012

What should I do when the oil pressure light stays on while driving?

2007

While driving, if the oil pressure light stays lit, pull over, stop the vehicle, and switch off the engine.

Until the cause is fixed, do not drive the vehicle; this light does not show how much oil is in the engine.

What should I do if the check engine light stays on?

A loose or missing gas cap or poor fuel quality may cause it; service the vehicle if it stays on through several typical driving cycles, though towing is usually unnecessary.

What does a low brake fluid level mean?

2007

The level can fall as brake pads wear, but low fluid may indicate a leak and require a checkup.

With a manual transaxle, if no brake leak or other problem is found, low fluid may indicate a hydraulic clutch leak requiring dealer service.

How do I choose the correct transmission fluid for my Caliber?

2007

For an automatic transaxle (CVT), use Mopar CVTF +4; for a manual transaxle, use Mopar ATF+4 MS9602.

If equipped, use the limited use spare only temporarily for emergencies, keep it at the cold pressure listed on the tire placard or spare assembly, and do not exceed 60 mph (100 km/h); repair or replace the original tire and reinstall it promptly because handling is affected and control can be lost.
